We had a great day for our recent Gathering in the Garden event at Thirsk Hall, Kirkgate, on Tuesday 12th August. The sun was shining and everyone had a lovely time. We had a great turn-out with over 130 tickets sold, raising an incredible £5,878.

We’re hugely grateful once again to Daisy & Bill of Thirsk Hall. An enormous thank you to everyone who joined us and supported the event!

Our luncheon at Thirsk Hall on Friday, 5th September, was a delicious way to raise £1,550 over canapés, fizz and a wonderful 3-course lunch!

Thanks to everyone who supported us by buying tickets to come along, to our fascinating speaker Richard Menage and of course Daisy & Bill of Thirsk Hall, without whose generosity, we couldn’t hold the event.

After a fabulous day at High Brockholme Barns on Wednesday, 24th September, this year’s shopping event raised an incredible £5,255.

Thanks to everyone at High Brockholme, all stallholders & local businesses and suppliers who supported us.

Our first Christmas Carol Service was held on Sunday, 7th December and attended by nearly 300 people!

Led by The Revd Canon Dianne Gamble, this lovely event featured readings, community carols and wonderful singing from the children of The Husthwaite Hummingbirds & Sessay School and South Kilvington Church of England Academy Choir.

The event raised just over £7,000 (including £2,300 from a charity auction). Huge thanks to everyone who attended, took part, bought auction lots & donated.
