About Us

Thirsk Friends of The Lambert Hospice is a passionate local volunteer group dedicated to raising funds and awareness in support of Herriot Hospice at the Lambert in Thirsk.

We organise a variety of community events throughout the year — from "New to You" sales at Thirsk Town Hall, to raffles and local fundraising drives — all with one goal in mind: to help ensure the Hospice is able to continue providing vital, compassionate care to those who need it.

Our group was formed by friends who came together with a shared commitment to supporting palliative and end of life care in our local community. This is very much a grassroots, community-driven effort, and we're proud to play our part in supporting the people and families the Hospice serves.

Supporting Herriot Hospice at The Lambert

All of our fundraising efforts go directly toward supporting Herriot Hospice at The Lambert, which provides high quality, person-centred care for people living with terminal illness and bereavement in Thirsk and the wider Hambleton and Richmondshire area.

We are a separate group from the League of Friends of the Lambert Hospital and are not part of Herriot Hospice at The Lambert or Herriot Hospice Homecare.
